Creating a Page

The page is to be used as non-blog content.

In general, pages are similar to blog entries (posts) in that they both have a title and content.

Pages are usually used to create pages such as “About Us” and “Contact Us”, etc.

And often used to serve pages that do not require continuous changes, and you can also use this page to organize and manage any content.

Steps to create a new page:

  1. Enter your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Click the Pages tab.
  3. Click the Add New sub-tab.
  4. Start filling in all the Columns provided: Fill in the post title in the column at the top, then enter the content of your article in the post-editing column (article) under the column title.

Unlike the case with posts (articles), on this page, there is no category and tags column and excerpt column. However, on the page, there is a Page Attributes column.

Inside this page attribute, it can be used to create a parent page and also for page templates. The Page attributes column is to the right of the editor column and below the published column.page

  1. Page Attributes

You can create pages that have levels (hierarchy). For example, you have an “About” page, and below the about page, there are a few more pages like “About Company” or “About Career”.

Then the sequence in your URL looks like this:

There are no limits to the number of levels.

  1. Templates

Some themes have additional templates that can be used according to their form and function. To find out whether the theme has additions or not, you can see it in the Page Attributes column.

  1. Order

This option is used to arrange the order in which the pages are displayed. for example, you have 3 pages on your website: blog, home, and shop.

And you want to sort these pages according to your needs, for example, it will be changed to something like Home, Blog, Shop. So all you have to do is fill in this order option with serial numbers (numeric) 1,2,3 and so on.
